Bathing in the sounds of the Gong
What does it consist of?

A gong bath is a complete immersion in sound. Gong brings you to a state of deep relaxation, where a natural rebalancing of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies occurs.

When you come to a gong bath, the gong washes away your worries, your problems, your burdens. When you finish, we feel reborn, with the opportunity to begin anew.

Connect with an intention for the session and let go...

From here, you have to release your body weight on the ground...

The recommended posture is savasana. This posture is very important for enjoying the experience. It's the posture adopted to close a yoga class with relaxation.

Remember, we need to ensure that our body is completely relaxed, motionless, with our mind at a minimum level of activity and remaining alert.

It seems easy, but if we consider the goal of this pose, we realize how difficult it is. It's not just about lying on your back and stretching. Your hands should face upward, your shoulders should be rotated, and your chest should be open.

From here, you should release your body weight onto the floor without leaving any areas of tension, to allow the deepest muscles to relax. Also, in the Gong Bath, you should not fall asleep!

From here on, the gongs will ring
45 minutes without interruption...

This will lead the participant to a state of deep relaxation, allowing them to enjoy a state of neutrality where everything fades away.

During or after the Gong Bath, some people may cry, feel weightless, or laugh uncontrollably. The release of feelings is a natural process of the Gong Bath, as the Gong releases the thoughts that are blocking the participant and sustaining negative feelings.

The session ends with a period of silence, between 5 and 10 minutes, in which participants integrate the experience. The sound guides you where you need to go and does its work even if we are not aware of it. If you are new to yoga or meditation, this will be a good opportunity to experiment. If you have experience, this practice will allow you to deepen and refine your process. The truth is that every experience is different, unique, and unrepeatable.
